Kelly Chappie has been writing and traveling since she was a small child.
The first flight she took (with no adults) was with her brother.
She was 5 and he was 3.
He had to pretend to be 5, but only held up three fingers when asked by the flight attendant how old he was.
That flight made an emergency landing in Los Angeles. She got off the plane and phoned her parents to say that they’d promised that her grandparents would be there when the plane landed. But here they were in Los Angeles with no grandparents.

She did get back on that plane and has been traveling since.

Kelly has more than 20 years experience managing non-profits and launching successful re-branding campaigns.
She enjoys dual citizenship with Italy and loves Sicily.
Especially a little beach with blue and white umbrellas in Cefalu.
